believe that frank conversations about our work as counselors and therapists helps us do the best work possible. This means a no-bullshit approach to exploring topics with my fellow colleagues, supervisees, or anyone I am mentoring. At the same time, I attempt to infuse these relationships with complexity, understanding, and the reverence they deserve. We therapists are doing the hard work and we are facing obstacles from every angle. We need honest support to do good therapy. Please reach out if you would like support for your clinical work, ethical dilemmas, or if you know you need to work on any issues that interfere with your therapy relationships.

Professional consultation is a bit different from clinical supervision but has plenty in common with it. I see my consultation clients as fellow professionals that I am supporting with compassion, authenticity, and advocacy in mind.

Many different topics may be discussed in professional consultation:

support in building your clinical, supervisory, or leadership skills
professional development and support diversifying your career in the mental health profession
complicated ethical dilemmas/challenging clinical cases
changing systems, policies, procedures, and org culture in your setting
learning more about relational psychotherapy models
getting grounded on anti-racist practice in your work
consultation on your group work or group facilitation skills
exploring how to curate your career given your individual strengths and challenges with the work
consultation on choosing trauma processing modalities/training pathways
ethical dilemmas of all varieties

I am open to one-time consultation appointments or regular support with no ongoing obligation. I love supporting fellow professionals in building their supervision skills, diversifying their professional activities, and working through complicated ethical or self-of-the-therapist issues!

Cost: $150/hour for consultation
